Sharing Space With Koalas

  • The Koala Hospital Cnr of Roto Place and Lord Street Port Macquarie NSW Australia (map)

*** EVENT TO GO AHEAD, BUT TREE-PLANTING WILL BE POSTPONED DUE TO ALL THE WET WEATHER & MUDDY CONDITIONS ***

Join us for a fun and interactive workshop at the Koala Hospital and their newly acquired tree planting site on the North Shore.

This event is for everyone who would like to learn more about Koala habitat and what we can do to ensure Koalas have a safe future in our community.

After a brief tour of the Koala Hospital we will head to a tree planting site on the North Shore to hear from Graham Hargreaves, Koala Hospital volunteer and project manager of the tree-planting initiative, about this project and about what we can do to protect Koala Habitat in our community.

We will then get hands-on and help Graham to plant some Koala food trees, which will be the key to sustaining Koalas looked after by the Koala Hospital in the future.

The Lost Plot would love to support the great work of the Koala Hospital on an ongoing basis by adopting a Koala annually. We are aiming to raise enough funds through donations on the day to adopt a Koala. We would love you to support our goal with a donation on the day, if you can.
